Yerba Mate Canarias, like all Uruguayan mate, consists mainly of powder with very small, cut leaves, without stems.

It is a product obtained from a selection of yerba mate leaves from trees located in native forest regions and harvested through sustainable agricultural management that respects the natural conditions of the environment.
In the industrial process phase, the objective is to preserve and highlight the noble characteristics of the yerba mate leaf through a longer conservation time, a uniform and balanced grinding and an optimal blend evaluated by expert tasters.
The result is a yerba mate with a fine, slightly smoky aroma and a moderately intense, uniform flavor that persists throughout the infusion time.

The leaves of the yerba mate trees used to make canaries come from the states of Santa Catarina, Paraná and Rio Grande Do Sul in Brazil.
